A product has recently come to my attention that has changed my life and I would love to share it with you. So, today, I’m going to be reviewing the new ‘YouMove’ band.

The YouMove band is targeted at young people who are not necessarily the sportiest – a very good fit with my blog! It is, however, also useful for Step-Counters, Weight-Lifters, Early Risers and Sleep-Trackers, so it really is the band for everyone.
At the end of the day,
#WeAllMove!
One of the most obvious and best features is of course the Step Tracker. This feature of the band is the first one that comes to mind and is by far my favourite. Using the app, you can set a goal, and track how far you’ve stepped today and figure out how far you’ve got to go to keep on target. The default is 10,000, but don’t feel pressured to start off trying to achieve this as it can be a lot! I started off with just 4,000 and worked my way up. This is a really easy way to keep yourself active and get rewarded. The only teeny negative I have to say about the step counter is that it’s sometimes overly sensitive; I occasionally find that it counts steps as I turn the wheel when I’m driving or shaking a drink – but that’s just more of a reason to surpass your daily goal to overcompensate!

The design of the band overall is sleek and stylish. The changeable straps, as modelled by moi above, mean I can wear it whenever, wherever, without worrying that it doesn’t go with my outfit.
Another great feature is the Sleep Tracker. Wearing the band to bed at night can take some getting used to but the benefits are invaluable; I can now track my sleeping patterns with the help of the YouMove app, which can help keep healthy habits. Some other great features include the Heart Rate Tracker, the Calories Counter and the ability to view incoming texts and calls from your phone. The app can also help girls track their cycles and you can keep a record of weight, water drunk, and food eaten.

Overall, this product, at a bargain price, really works for me. The adaptability and customisability of it means I don’t feel it forces me to go running every day (and as you know, I do not run), and it supports me in my quest to keep fit whilst keeping the obvious exercise to a minimal. It has a long battery life so I don’t have to remember to charge it every day and I’ve found it’s helped me to get moving a lot more everyday – I just love the little animation it gives you when you achieve a goal!
